Classes and Dan
Its that time of year, classes are starting today in about 30 minutes and I must admit that I'm still not ready to start back. Like always Lindsey makes starting anything I'm aprehensive about a little less difficult. She organized a notebook for me for this semester and my computer, boy am I lucky. We're excited about what God has in store for us this semester and seeing how He will work in our lives.
I've told some of you about my friend that has Parkinson's that I help take care of a day or two a week. Here is a picture of him about 3 years ago while he was still working.
Dan is a great guy that has taught me more than I could learn in any class. I knew some of these things already but here is a sampling of what we can all learn from him:
-- Smile after all the little victories
-- Humor can make the most difficult situation a fun one
-- Make friends with those around you
How often do we live out these three statements? They are difficult but worth the effort because they bring joy to our lives and to the lives of others.
