Lindsey in Seattle, Brad at the Beebe's

Lindsey is in Seattle for a work meeting and Brad just had his tonsils removed and he is hangin here with us Beebe's. We have been watching alot of movies, eating, watching tv, sleeping, and then doing all that over again.

Brad had to cancel a bunch of classes he was taking this summer because of his surgery but I think its good for him to learn to be flexible. He has too much stress sometimes. But I do think that he needs Lindsey to come home sometime soon because well I don't know they are a prettier couple with her around.

So we watched the Pistons win tonight; it was a boring game, I felt like I was watching a playground pick up game somewhere. Tomorrow Brad and I are going to go out and do something cool. We will be putting some pictures up on here tomorrow sometime. Toodles -- Alex Beebe (Lindsey's brother)

World Missions and Go Lindsey Go

Lindsey sure has been busy lately with class in the morning and then work in the afternoon. I'm amazed at how she just keeps on going sometimes with what seems like no rest at all. I've been at home working on papers and tests for my World Missions class that I took last week. Unfortunately I'm still having trouble with the same sore throat that has been with me since February. We are going to the Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist again today. Part of me thinks that I might have just developed an allergy of some sort after arriving in TX but who knows.

Its really weird how I've always taken my health for granted. Somehow I always was convinced that I would never get any kind of sickness that would take this long to go away. I think though, that in frustrating times God really does stay by our side and teach us to rely on Him. Wouldn't it be amazing to see the difference in our lives if we called out to Him every day like we do when we encounter what seems to us to be an insurmountable bump in the road! -- Brad --

Nursery and Sunday School

Well, it's been a few weeks, since you've gotten an updated, but things are going great with us. We finished finals last week, and had a great time the weekend afterwards. We went to Brad's Greek professor's home to spend some time with his classmates and professor's family, went to a Ranger's game with some of the residents from the complex, and hung out with the Beebe's for Mother's Day.

This week we both started some summer school classes. Brad is taking a World Missions class, which just lasts for this week, and Lindsey is taking a class on Hebrews, James, 1/2/3 John, Jude, and Revelation, which will last for 3 weeks…and she'll continue to work in Admissions. Nevertheless, we are keeping ourselves busy (as normal).

We have started to get more plugged in at our church through leadership opportunities. Lindsey has started working in the nursery on Sunday mornings, taking care of the little babies and is perfectly content with that. She has gotten to know a lot more of the ladies of the church through this, which has been great for her. Brad is working on a Sunday school series that he will be teaching in the fall on "Friendship in the Bible." On top of that, we are getting really pumped about our trip to Mexico, as we are continuously working on preparations and raising support for the trip. We'll try and keep you updated on it, and if you would like more information, feel free to contact us.

Thanks for all your prayers in regards to Brad's health, he is still on the mend, but seems to be getting better each week. The biggest blessing for him has been that he hasn't lost his voice again :) Adios for now amigos, Lindsey and Brad
