Chica Mia!

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Bridges family...Mia Margaret Bridges! She is our 2nd niece...so now we are the proud aunt and uncle of 4 little ones. Here's a picture of her.

Though we haven't seen her yet, we are already in love and can't wait until Christmas time to spend some time cuddling with her and playing/talking with the other nieces and nephews --Erica, Ben, and Carter!

(Erica and Ben are the proud Big Sister and Brother...) Congrats to Alison and Doug (Brad's oldest brother)!!

Plants

Yes I'm weird. About a month ago Lindsey and I had no plants in our apartment. While at a friend's house I noticed they had many house plants and complimented them on theirs. They then gave me a new plant for Lindsey and I to grow in our house. Well you'll be happy to know that we now have 4 plants in our house.

So if you are looking to add some color to your house at virtually no cost, cut a small clipping from a friend's house plant and put it in water. It will hopefully sprout some roots, then all you have to do is put it in a small pot with some dirt. Done, you now have a small houseplant that will add color to your house and provide an excellent illustration for the Christian life.

When we stay connected to the vine we will continue to grow and have life. We tend to sometimes live like a leaf or branch separated from a plant and expect to grow. As Christians we need to stay in God's Word and connected to a local body of believers in order to grow spiritually.
