The Missionaries We'll Serve with in Mexico

If you are wondering who we are going to be serving under while we are in Mexico in June then look below. I'd like to introduce you to the Fry Family - Rod (dad), Mayra (mom), kids from left to right - David (3), Daniel (9), and Cathy (5). They are all a whole lot of fun to spend time with and to serve alongside of. Please pray for their family as they will be hosting around 20-25 people during our stay in Mexico along with helping us to be constantly involved in ministry.

Graduation!

Well, on Saturday Lindsey graduated from DTS. It was a busy weekend with lots of fun--since both our parents were able to celebrate it with us. Bill and Barbara got picked up from the airport on Friday and Brad and Ryan took them immediately to the Stockyards (can you tell we had way too much fun when we went with Sid, Jess, and Carter...?)

Bill raises cattle, so it was a great for him to get to see some longhorns and see the stockyards!

My brother Ryan was having fun too :)

After the trip out to the Stockyards, they met the rest of all of us down at DTS for the BBQ that was going on. They had a petting zoo and bounce houses for all the kids down here and we all just enjoyed spending time together over some BEEF barbeque.

Then the next morning was graduation! We had about 287 people walk the stage that day---Master of Arts, Masters of Theology, Doctors of Ministry, and Doctors of Philosophy. It was at Sunnyvale Baptist and the church was huge! Everything went well and surprisingly enough, I did not trip at any point!

This is right before we went off to put on the regalia....

With Ryan (left) and Alex (right) right after graduation!

This is a picture of all the DMIN guys who did all of their program at SETECA (Central American Theological Seminary) in Guatemala. SETECA and DTS paired up together to offer this Spanish Doctor of Ministry program. They were the first class to go through the entire program, so it was exciting for them. Also, CAM International (who Brad works for) supports the ministries of SETECA as well, so it was an exciting day for CAM as well!!!

Thanks for everyone for their congrats and their support these past 2 years as I've worked to complete my masters. And now Brad is a bit more than half-way through!!!

Sid, Jess, and Carter in town!

A couple weekends ago Brad's brother was in town for a business trip with Bank of America. After a week of business, Jess and Carter came down too to visit! It was a great weekend, as evidenced by the pictures. If you know Brad and I...you know we love kids...so we had a BLAST with Carter and miss having him around. We were able to go to the Fort Worth Stockyards and a Rangers game with them...so much fun was had!

Mexico City: GET READY!

Very soon Lindsey and I will be heading to Mexico which will be the first of many stops on our itinerary this summer. It has been amazing to see how God has opened doors for us to go and serve his people around the world. We feel called to go and minister to the people of Mexico, Honduras, and Spain as we seek to be obedient now and open to where God might take us in the future. Below is a picture two homes in the neighborhood where we will be serving. The homes are not huge but they are sufficient and there are over 50,000 of them. Lots of people, lots of ministry, relationship building, and spiritual fruit. Please pray for us.
