Partner Profile - Bill and Karyn Ward

I first met Bill and Karyn Ward about a year or two ago when we went with the Beebe family on vacation in Colorado. Little did I know that we'd get to see them again this past summer again. They have kids that are the same age as Lindsey's little brothers and are some really great people.

About a month ago, Bill and Karyn took Lindsey and I out to eat at Blue Mesa (a Tex-Mex) restaurant here in Dallas. To be honest, I knew very little about the Wards and was simply looking forward to the chance to get to know them better since they had asked so many questions about our ministry when we had seen them before.

Bill and Karyn really impacted us that night at Blue Mesa. First of all they took about 1.5 hours AFTER eating our meal to ask us questions about our ministry, our marriage, our planning, our financial support, etc. They encouraged us and demonstrated to us a desire to serve in missions by encouraging, supporting, and praying for missionaries.

Bill and Karyn recently sent in their pledge to partner with Lindsey and I by(1) praying for us, (2) beginning their monthly financial pledge this month, and (3) also giving us tips on websites like twitter.com that we can use to stay in touch with family and friends before and while we are on the mission field (Karyn even convinced one of us to sign up for twitter [go to www.twitter.com/bradbridges but you'll need a login to view the updates]).

As an architect (Bill) and mom of three (Karyn), they have busy lives but realize that God can use them to impact the world right from Dallas, TX.
