The Moose is Loose
When Brad was in kindergarten or 1st grade, he was already taller than many of his classmates. He distinctly remembers a day when everyone was measured alongside the wall outside his classroom to see how tall each student was. He was one of the two tallest kids.
Because of this, Brad's brothers nicknamed him "Moose" because moose because they are such large animals. Today we saw a video on the news about a moose that was loose in Utah on Wednesday. He was 800 Pounds! Enjoy. Here's the link.

that's funny...i had the same experience...i was the tallest kid in my kg class and they weighed everyone in front of each other too. I guess it was educational...using scales and numbers and all that...plus we all knew for sure who was the fattest and skinniest and so forth...we didn't really need the scale for that though! I guess b/c I was tallest, it helped me tie for heaviest (I was pretty skinny...not sure what's happened since then...marriage I believe)...50 pounds and tied at 50 lbs with...well..."the fat girl."
these days I imagine parents would sue over that little lesson plan!
