CIT: We've Arrived

We've made it to CIT (Center for Intercultural Training). All our things are settled in an apartment on campus, where we will be doing pre-field training this summer. Here's a picture of the patio where four different apartments face. Our door is upstairs...the first one on your right.

There are several different missions organizations represented here and all different countries represented as well! It has been awesome to interact with them already, and we know that we are all going to learn alot from one another in the upcoming weeks.

Our first module is "Equipping for Cross-cultural Life and Ministry" which should be very practical and get us ready for what we should expect and plan on when we make the move.

I'm not going to lie, it's going to be nice to be in one location here in Union Mills, NC, for a bit...and have our own little place for a while; however, we are still working hard at getting our support in, so that we can reach 100% as soon as possible. (As soon as all our pledges/support is in and CIT is complete....we can leave for Uruguay and begin our ministry there.)

Keep checking in here for more posts about CIT and what we are learning!
