The Bridge

Our website holds an image of a bridge as a symbol of our ministry and lifestyle. Of course, on the cheesy side of things, we are the Bridges, so a bridge seems logical; however a deeper significance lays behind that image.

We desire to be a bridge into other peoples lives—whether that is our next door neighbor, our family, or those who we are ministering to. Through the way that we live our lives and treat others, we want to show Christ’s love to those around us!

Through our church planting ministry and friendships, we want to build bridges into the communities as we seek to bring others into a Christian community that serves our God. Specifically as we launch out to the mission field, our desire is to not only be bridges but also to build bridges into the lives of others through outreaches that are geared around service. One example might be teaching English lessons for free as a way of serving people (building bridges) so that we can develop relationships with them and their community. By building bridges this way and many others, we will foster relationships that provide opportunities for us to share the gospel and start churches in areas with little or no Christians.
